Thursday Band

Experience a journey through music history with the Thursday Band, which keeps the spirit of rock, beat, and blues alive.

The Thursday Band consists of five experienced musicians who have not lost their passion for rock, beat, and blues even in their more mature years. The band members began their musical careers during the era of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Elvis, playing in various formations. Gerhard, who originally received classical piano training, switched to rock and played as a keyboardist in the bands 'The Shakers' and 'Le Saphiers'. Hermann, the guitarist, was part of the youth band 'The Creep' and a 'Saxophone Quartet'. Edwin, the solo guitarist of the Thursday Band, is active as a musician in various formations. Helfried, the bassist, played with 'The Gumdrops' and 'Oldtimers', and Joe, the drummer, was part of the 'Black Shadows'. These experienced musicians demonstrate that music is a lifelong companion that does not let go of musicians or listeners in their more mature years.
