Unesco World Heritage Salzburg

UNESCO World Heritage Salzburg: Who takes care of the city?! is the title of an exhibition trilogy that presents people and institutions in their respective roles for the preservation and development of the historic Old Town.

The first exhibition in the Orangerie Salzburg highlights the development towards World Heritage status, presents key players, and illustrates their tasks, self-understanding, and perspectives through selected exhibits. It thus provides initial answers to the question of who cares for the city and emphasizes the close connection between this responsibility and the present and future of the World Heritage Salzburg.

Opening hours:
daily 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Exhibition period

  • 27. June 2026 - 31. January 2027
