Walking tour ' Best of Arts'

Melodious Salzburg – Public Old Town Tour - Discover Salzburg anew.
75-minute compressed special and theme tour on music, architecture, and history in the Salzburg Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage Site), led by Mag. Christiana Schneeweiß, Dipl. Art Historian and Austria Guide.

Salzburg captivates with its unique classical architecture in its old town. It beautifully combines themes such as theology, politics, and music in Salzburg's old town into a total work of art (UNESCO WORLD CULTURAL HERITAGE) that comes alive. Hidden messages can be found in and on buildings, audible in the music, and are addressed to us in an immediate language. Additionally, gain unique insights into a European significant and thrilling crime story set against the most beautiful cityscape of Central Europe.

SALZBURG - THE UNESCO WORLD CULTURAL HERITAGE
The early baroque "stage," built on Venetian ancient Roman principles, is considered a materialization of novel humanistic-Christian reforms of the 16th and early 17th centuries. It is attributed to a completely unrecognized Archbishop of Salzburg, who represented a new vision of politics advocating for holistic and universal peace and was brought down by new powerful alliances of Europe at that time.
The diverse culture of Salzburg, along with the significant tradition of church music and theater, has significantly influenced Mozart's work. Discover Salzburg anew in its original purpose and with its visions.
With an optional guided tour of the Cathedral interior and a musical experience in Salzburg Cathedral at midday following the tour (Music at Midday), you can experience the unique Salzburg concept for a small additional fee.
