For years, Tanzbase Salzburg has celebrated its annual summer show as a seasonal highlight. Under the title "When Reality Sleeps," the performance blends dance, poetry, and fantasy into a boundless journey. Dancers from the ensemble explore imaginary landscapes—from blooming meadows to mysterious forests—and break the boundaries between reality and dream. Without a fixed plot, flowing choreographies emerge that express weightlessness and freedom. Precise movements and dreamlike expressiveness create a world where gravity loses its meaning. Emotions and unspoken stories take center stage as the audience immerses itself in a world where anything seems possible.
