Winter Festival 2025: Cirque Le Roux (France)
25 years of Winterfest – the anniversary of an extraordinary circus adventure! The largest festival for contemporary circus in the German-speaking world brings internationally renowned circus companies and their latest productions to Salzburg each year around the Advent season.
Cirque Le Roux, founded in 2014, is an award-winning contemporary circus company, known for its innovative and unique style. Their new masterpiece »Entre Chiens et Louves« (Between Dogs and Wolves) reveals the stories of three people living in different eras: 1870, 1960, and 2022.
In a unique blend of circus and cinema, the eight artists combine comedy, dance, and breathtaking acrobatics, celebrating a solidary and human society.
