Woyzeck is a modern adaptation of Georg Büchner's classic, staged as a freak show by the Theater der Mitte. Directed by Benjamin Blaikner, with set design by Hannes Öhlböck and costumes by Franziska Krug. Max Pfnür takes on all the roles and presents an impressive performance full of bright colors and quirky humor. The story revolves around the soldier Woyzeck, who searches for his place amidst a circus atmosphere while his relationship with Marianne falls apart and his destiny takes a bloody turn. The play is characterized by touching depth and moving live music. The duration is approximately 75 minutes.
