Residenzplatz in front of Salzburg Cathedral will once again be the backdrop for major concerts. Headliners are top artists like Volbeat, Pizzera & Jaus and AVEC.
In the 1980s and 1990s, international stars such as Tina Turner, Joe Cocker and Neil Young gave concerts on Residenzplatz. Herbert Grönemeyer was the last artist to rock Residenzplatz in front of Salzburg Cathedral in 2016. In 2025, this tradition was continued with Wanda, Christina Stürmer and DJ Paul Kalkbrenner.
