29.5. and 30.5.2026

Residenzplatz in front of Salzburg Cathedral will once again be the backdrop for major concerts. With Pizzera & Jaus and AVEC, the first acts for May 2026 have been confirmed.

In the 1980s and 1990s, international stars such as Tina Turner, Joe Cocker and Neil Young gave concerts on Residenzplatz. Herbert Grönemeyer was the last artist to rock Residenzplatz in front of Salzburg Cathedral in 2016. In 2025, this tradition was continued with Wanda, Christina Stürmer and DJ Paul Kalkbrenner.
