The Hop on Hop off principle is quickly explained: At the designated stops, you can get on and off whenever you want. You decide where you want to stay and how long, and which sights you want to explore in more detail.

Yellow Line: City Tour (year-round)

The "Yellow Line" offers a city tour in Salzburg. This tour takes you to Mirabellplatz, the Old Town, and the Festival District. It also visits Schloss Leopoldskron and Schloss Hellbrunn in the south of Salzburg. The "Yellow Line" has 10 stops, an audio guide in 13 languages (German, English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Arabic), and a “Sound of Music” audio commentary in English and Spanish.

Blue Line: Historic Old Town Hallein, Salt Mines, and Kehlstein (April to September)

The "Blue Line" takes you from Mirabellplatz in Salzburg via Schloss Hellbrunn and the Untersbergbahn in St. Leonhard to the historic Old Town of Hallein, to the Salt Mines on the Dürnberg, and further into Bavaria to the Obersalzberg documentation (the connecting bus to the Kehlsteinhaus must be booked separately), to the center of Berchtesgaden, to Königssee, and back to Salzburg via the Berchtesgaden Salt Mine. The "Blue Line" has 13 stops, an audio guide in 7 languages (German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Korean, Arabic), and a children's channel (German).
