Ever thought about discovering "the other side" of Salzburg? Six new theme routes take you to unknown places and the most beautiful photo-spots. Detailled maps are available online and offline and offer perfect orientation.

CREATIVE WALK

Salzburg has more to offer than the famous baroque side. Unexpected architecture, contemporary museums, surprising art and versatile galeries allow the visitor a new angle on the City of Mozart. This Creative Walk is a combination of the 14 pieces of art of the “Walk of Modern Art” and some selected highlights in architecture and street art.

INSTAGRAMMABLE SALZBURG Foot Path

For the most beautiful pictures of Salzburg, you only need two things: firstly, Hohensalzburg Fortress in the background, and secondly, a great location. Especially locals know, where to find the best spots off the center. This tour is based on that specific knowledge and guarantees your perfect "photo op".

INSTAGRAMMABLE SALZBURG Cycling path

For those beautiful Salzburg photos, we came up with a special idea: Grab yourself a bycicle and a smartphone, then discover the very best photo spots outside the city center. In that way, you can combine nature, exercise and picture-perfect views of the historical district all at the same time.

Churches Tour

There is a good reason, why Salzburg is called the „Rome of the North“: each of the many churches in the Old Town has its own special tale to tell and many refer to the importance of the prince-archbishops. This city walk connects a fine selection of churches in which each has some unique story.

With eleven breweries in a town of 150,000 inhabitants, Salzburg clearly is the Austrian capital of beer. A broad number of restaurants, pub gardens and trendy bars show Salzburgs passion for brewing as much as special guided tours and education programs. This city walk takes you to the most interesting sights that explain the history behind this special beer culture. In addition, it presents a selection of certified beer pubs.
