Due to a technical defect, only cash payments can currently be made at the Red Cross parking lot.
The Red Cross parking lot will become a temporary city oasis from July 4 to July 19, 2026(therefore no parking is possible during this time)
From July 4 to July 19, the Red Cross parking lot in Salzburg's city center will transform into a temporary city oasis. Where cars usually park, a public space for sitting, playing, experimenting, and engaging will be created for three weeks.
This central parking facility is located between the old town and the Salzach River. From here, most shops and cultural institutions in Salzburg are within walking distance.
- Total number of spaces: 64 parking spaces
- Disabled parking spaces: not available (2 disabled parking spaces are located outside the marked parking area between the bus stops Hanusch Platz and the new roundabout)
- E-charging station: 4 (payment for charging is made using the parking ticket)
- Women’s parking spaces: not available
- No parking available for motorhomes and caravans
- Parking spaces not monitored
