El Dorado for athletes

The Alpenstrasse sports hall is a multifunctional triple gymnasium as well as a popular venue for sports events, pop concerts, congresses and lectures. The hall is used mainly for sports such as football, basketball, handball, volleyball, table tennis, tennis, rhythmic gymnastics and fencing. The sports hall has a capacity for approximately 2200 visitors.

Location and access

The sports hall is located in the south of the town on Alpenstrasse, about three kilometres from the town centre. It is close to the southern motorway junction and has 520 parking spaces in its immediate vicinity. It is also connected to the public transport network (bus lines 3 and 8). The main entrance is at Otto-Holzbauer-Straße 5.
