Botanical garden
Salzburg Apothecary Herb Garden, Alpinum, high- and low moor, dry grassland, farmhouse garden, carnivorous plants.
The Salzburg Botanical Garden is about 1 ha in size and comprises the following areas:
- Outdoor area with several exhibits - mainly sections from central European vegetation: approx. 10.000 m²
- Cultivatioon areas: 280 m²
- Experimental greenhouses: 350 m²
- The facade greenhouse with mainly tropical plants is integrated into the main building of the Faculty of Natural Sciences: 590 m².
April: Tuesday-Friday 9 AM - 4 PM
May-September: Tuesday-Sunday 10 AM - 6 PM
October: Tuesday-Friday 9 AM - 4 PM
Closed: November-March, Mondays
Guided Tours:
Guided tours through the Botanical Garden are available at any time by appointment.
