Golling Waterfall

Popularly chosen by painters of the Romantic as a motif, roaring Golling Waterfall is one of the most attractive and idyllic natural monuments in the province. If you continue from here with a hike into Bluntautal Valley, this truly is a perfect excursion for the whole family.

Golling Waterfall

Golling is about 30 km south of Salzburg. In the district of Torren ("torrens" Lat. torrent), the waterfall plunges down 75 metres in two stages. The hiking trail leads almost entirely through forest and is also suitable for children. After about 40 minutes you can even see the source of the waterfall.
