Hans-Peter Porsche TraumWerk

Not far from Salzburg lies the Hans-Peter Porsche TraumWerk [dream works], an inviting place for a day trip to Anger in the Bavarian region of Berchtesgaden. The toy collection is more than a mere exhibition – it is the perfect destination for a family outing.

A Lively Toy Museum

Awe is emphasized in Hans-Peter Porsche's total work of art. “Der Achter” is Europe's largest publicly accessible private collection of tin toys. The approximately 2,100 exhibits from the years 1860 to 1930 are partly rarities – but always fully functional.

Through the Day in 17 Minutes

The model railway exhibition at TraumWerk includes over 200 trains from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, more than 8,000 figures, and 80,000 trees. Buildings, everyday scenes, and even thunder and lightning make the display a spectacle!

An Experience for the Whole Family

Changing special exhibitions, a colorful children’s program even in rainy weather, the TraumWerk restaurant with kids' menus, a large adventure playground, and the opportunity to ride on a real train through the park make the Hans-Peter Porsche TraumWerk a unique family excursion destination in any weather.
