Salzachsee lake - swimming lake Liefering
The recreational area in the north of Salzburg, the leisure facilities around the Liefering bathing pond offer an ideal place to swim, play sports and relax.
Summer fun for young and old
The swimming lake is the smallest of the three so-called Salzach lakes and has an area of 22,000 m². It is a maximum of three meters deep and is fed exclusively by groundwater. Generously laid out sunbathing areas invite you to relax around the lake. Changing rooms and cold-water showers are available.
Is there a gastronomic offering?
Two kiosks and a drinking water fountain are available.
Can you practice other sports besides swimming?
On a total area of 90,000 m², the bathing area in the district of Liefering offers additional leisure opportunities:
- Beach volleyball
- Basketball
- Football
- Children's playground with climbing nets, swings, etc.
Are dogs allowed on the premises?
For the consideration of other bathers, bringing dogs, fishing, and stand-up paddling are prohibited.
