The Advent serenades in the Gothic hall of the St. Blasius church feature a charming compilation of classical music, folk music, readings and Christmas carols. Compiled annually, the programme is an inherent part Salzburg's pre-Christmas events.

Every year, Elisabeth and Harald Nerat present an excellent selection of works for the Advent serenades, which have existed since 1987.
