There, you dare to look down from the suspended Skywalk at the historic Hallstatt, which lies 350 meters below, and at the UNESCO World Heritage region. Right after that, you dive into a long-ago epoch of humanity.

The path through the ages

Your path through the ages crosses the Hallstatt high valley, where approximately 1,500 graves with valuable grave goods have been excavated to this day. You will encounter a walkable viewing grave, which along with audio guide information stations, offers you a fascinating insight into the 7,000-year-old Hallstatt culture and salt production.

Meet and Greet with the Man in Salt

From the miners' house, you will travel on tracks with the mine train through the mysterious tunnels into the massive heart of the salt mountain. Here, you will meet the legendary "Man in Salt," who was found nearly completely preserved almost 300 years ago. You will glide rapidly like the miners of old down two miner slides into the depths, where a mystical salt lake awaits you.

Movie Time in the "Bronze Age Cinema"

In the Bronze Age Cinema, you will encounter some great stars. For example, the oldest wooden staircase in Europe. An absolute highlight that provides the cinema with a perfect stage. Or Udlo and his kin. The film, which you will see in 4K quality more than 400 meters underground, revolves around their hard lives in the Bronze Age.
