Botanical garden
Salzburg Apothecary Herb Garden, Alpinum, high- and low moor, dry grassland, farmhouse garden, carnivorous plants.
The Botanical Garden of Salzburg is approximately 1 hectare in size and includes the following areas:
- Outdoor area with several display groups - mainly excerpts from Central European vegetation: approximately 10,000 m²
- Seedling areas: 280 m²
- Experimental greenhouses: 350 m²
- The facade greenhouse, which primarily features tropical plants, is integrated into the main building of the Faculty of Natural Sciences: 590 m²
- Events in the Botanical Garden
- Guided tours by the Pharmacists' Chamber through the pharmacist herb garden
April: Tuesday-Friday 9-4 p.m.
May-September: Tuesday-Sunday 10-6 p.m.
October: Tuesday-Friday 9-4 p.m.
Closed: November-March, Mondays

Guided tours of the Botanical Garden are available at any time by appointment.
