Break the Dam – Dance Performance
Five dancers break free from rigid resistance with fluid movement. Collective energy transforms physical stagnation in a post-apocalyptic, ecological landscape.
The Portuguese-Brazilian choreographer Rosana Ribeiro presents a choreographic exploration of resistance and collective transformation in her new production at the Sommerszene Salzburg.
Five dancers investigate the tension between stagnation and flowing movement in dense, physical spaces. The starting point is a dystopian scenery where suppressed forces and blocked energies become visible through synchronous and asynchronous movements, sound, and light.
