A musical-literary experience for children: reading from the book about Nannerl Mozart with live music from Mozart sonatas.
The picture book "She Sits at the Piano – Nannerl – The Life of Maria Anna Mozart" takes readers into the eventful, often overlooked life of a musically gifted woman whose talent and independence long remained in the shadow of her famous brother. Instead of portraying Maria Anna as a marginal figure and victim of her time, the Salzburg author couple Eva and Matthias Krallinger-Gruber tells a story of self-assertion, individuality, and surprising strength.
