Ernst Caramelle is one of the defining voices of Austrian conceptual art.
The exhibition at Rupertinum focuses on the early graphic works in which the artist engaged with German history, identity, and the artist's self in divided Germany. The thematic structure is based for the first time on four manifestos that the artist wrote in the 1960s.
