Exhibition: A line a day
The exhibition "A Line A Day" was created in reference to the maxim of many famous artists "Nulla dies sine linea" (No day without a line). From Apelles of Kos in ancient Greece to Rembrandt and Picasso, many artists have aimed not to let a day pass without at least making one line or brushstroke. And just as the English saying goes, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away," artists know that "A Line A Day" — meaning daily artistic practice — simply does them good, helps them stay creatively engaged, but also contributes to their emotional well-being and thus their overall health.
