Improvisational Theatre: A Year in the Crazy House
Experience improvised theater full of surprises and humor! A colorful shared flat chaotically fights for their inheritance—spontaneous, quirky, and without barriers. Perfect for anyone who loves relaxed theatrical adventures.
In the improvised theater series "Tritscher," a diverse shared household moves into a villa in need of renovation—under the condition that they live together. The dynamics of communal living, shaped by different temperaments and spontaneous conflicts, emerge entirely through improvisation, making each episode a unique theatrical adventure full of surprises. The performance takes place in an informal atmosphere: visitors can leave and re-enter the space at any time, noises are allowed, and the lighting remains dimmed. The event is particularly accessible for people with special needs, such as those on the autism spectrum or with chronic pain, as well as for families with children. The project is led by the Volxtheaterwerkstatt Salzburg, whose years of improvisational experience shape the unpredictable twists and turns on stage.
