At the nighttime fortress Hohensalzburg, there has always been a very special atmosphere. We invite children along with their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances to join us for a small lantern parade up to the fortress. Bring your own lanterns with electric lighting, and we will walk up together. Along the way, we will sing songs and listen to stories. To conclude, there will be children's punch in the courtyard to warm up and nourish.

Please only use lanterns with electric lights (no open flames!) Please note that the footpath to the fortress (approximately 100 meters in elevation) can be steep and slippery at times. Please be sure to wear suitable footwear and warm clothing!
