Celebrate the end of the school year with students from Maxglan Music Middle School! Dance, music, and drinks at ARGEkultur – featuring a DJ set by teenagers. For everyone aged 14 and up.
The OUT OF SCHOOL PARTY celebrates the end of the school year with a special party co-created by students from the Music Middle School Maxglan 2. Across two floors, visitors can expect music, drinks, and plenty of space to dance—one floor will be exclusively run by young people from class 3b for the first time. DJ Liser and other collectives will set the mood, while students from Salzburg aged 14 and up welcome the summer. The event is the result of a collaboration between ARGEkultur and the Music Middle School Maxglan 2. It fulfills the wishes of the SALZBURG MANIFESTO FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH CULTURE, in which young people demanded more opportunities to shape culture. In addition to this party, there have already been student-organized karaoke nights called MIC UP!—proof that culture comes alive when it is taken into one’s own hands.
