Melodious Salzburg – Public Old Town Tour - Discover Salzburg anew.
75-minute compressed special and theme tour on music, architecture, and history in the Salzburg Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage Site), led by Mag. Christiana Schneeweiß, Dipl. Art Historian and Austria Guide.

Salzburg captivates with its unique classic architecture in its Old Town. Here, themes such as theology, politics, and music are aesthetically merged into a total work of art (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE) and come to life. Hidden messages can be found in and on buildings, audible in the music, and are addressed to us humans in a direct language. Additionally, discover unique backgrounds to a European significant and exciting crime story against the beautiful city backdrop of Central Europe.

SALZBURG - THE UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE
The early Baroque "stage," built on Venetian ancient Roman basic considerations, is considered a materialization of a novel humanistic-Christian reform of the 16th and early 17th centuries. It is credited to an entirely overlooked Salzburg Archbishop who represented a comprehensive and universal peace with a novel vision of politics, yet was brought down by powerful new alliances in Europe of that time.
The diverse culture of Salzburg as well as the significant tradition of church music and theater have significantly influenced Mozart's work. Discover Salzburg in its most original purpose and with its visions.
With an optional interior tour of the cathedral and a musical experience in the Salzburg Cathedral at noon following the tour, (Music at noon) for an additional 5,-- or 9,-- euros, children under 18 years free, you can experience the tour of the unique Salzburg overall concept for a small additional fee.
