25 years of Winterfest – the anniversary of an extraordinary circus adventure! The largest festival for contemporary circus in the German-speaking world brings internationally renowned circus companies and their latest productions to Salzburg each year around the Advent season.
Zandl combines contemporary circus with absurd elements, real objects, and subtle effects. Its style thrives on abstraction, humor, and extraordinary expressiveness. This humorous spectacle is not an ordinary feast. “Food” invites the audience into an amusing and at times bizarre world of consumption. Fueled by the artists' own appetite for more.
