The Salzburg Architecture Initiative

Those interested in modern architecture will find an exciting place in Salzburg: the Initiative Architektur. It makes architecture visible and tangible.

The initiative sees itself as a mediator between the professional world and the public. It brings together people who want to talk, think, and discuss architecture. With a varied program – from exhibitions to symposia to architectural tours – it sharpens the awareness of how we shape our environment.

The initiative is based in the Architecture House, a historic stable building from the 19th century. The carefully adapted structure combines industrial charm with modern openness, creating a unique atmosphere. The Architecture House is now a meeting point for all those who engage with building culture, urban, and landscape planning.
