New art project at Residenzplatz during the festival season 2026 and in the splendid rooms of the Residenz: Installation by the internationally renowned artist Stephan Balkenhol. Figures from the world of opera bring the Residenzplatz and the splendid rooms of the Residenz to new life.
Contemporary Art in the State Rooms
Alongside the installation at Residenzplatz, sculptures by Stephan Balkenhol from the themes of the opera world are presented in the state rooms of the DomQuartier.
