Control vs. Commons

Discover the challenges and opportunities of knowledge production in the digital age through exciting roundtable discussions and presentations.

The role-playing game 'Control vs. Commons' examines the future of free knowledge on the Internet. As part of the Digital Spring Festival and in cooperation with ProEuropeanValuesAT, roundtable discussions with experts such as Bernhard Hayden, Paul Feigelfeld, Katja Mayer, Bettina Pospisil, and Nina Müller will develop strategies for promoting the open knowledge society. Topics include political influence, the dominance of tech corporations, as well as data mining and surveillance. The event will be musically accompanied by Thelonius Hamel. All proceeds will go to Wikimedia Austria.
