festival opening 2025
From July 18 to 19 and July 24, 2026, Salzburg will become a stage for all. At the "Festival for the Festival Opening," there will be music, theater, dance, and much more – free and accessible to everyone.
In the spirit of the vision of festival founder Max Reinhardt, Salzburg transforms into a grand stage and the theater doors open for everyone. There will be music, dance, performances, concerts, open rehearsals, artist talks, guided tours, and much more.
Free admission tickets, the program, and all information will be available here from July 4, 2026.
