Farm Festival at the Reiter-Christerbauer – Enjoyment from the Farm

On Sunday, September 6th starting at 11:00 AM, the Ammerer family warmly invites you to the farm festival at Reiter-Christerbauer in Großgmain. The organic hay milk farm is idyllically located at the foot of the Untersberg, directly across from the Salzburg Open Air Museum, and has been run as a family business for generations.

At the farm festival, visitors will receive an authentic insight into life and work on the farm. Guests can expect live music, culinary specialties from the farm, as well as regional delicacies in a cozy atmosphere.

A special highlight is the in-house distillery of Johannes Ammerer, a master distiller, who produces over 18 different spirits and liqueurs from the fruits of the numerous trees on the farm. The festival will provide exciting insights into the award-winning distillery.

In the farm shop of Katharina Ammerer, visitors can also discover and take home many homemade products – including freshly baked bread, eggs, jams, pasta, bacon, as well as spirits and liqueurs from their own production.

The farm festival offers a wonderful opportunity to experience agriculture up close, enjoy regional products, and spend a sociable day on the farm. All visitors are warmly welcome!
