The Abbey of St. Peter has a challenging music tradition that has been maintained for centuries. Evidence of a choir at St. Peter can already be traced back to the 16th century, which was predominantly composed of students from the monastery's Latin school. Since 2016, Peter Peinstingl has been leading the Stiftsmusik St. Peter.
