Traditional Easter market
More than 40 exhibitors showcase the best of Salzburg at the Easter Market: original Salzburg Mozart balls from the confectioner, hand-painted Easter eggs in the traditional Salzburg technique, traditional costume jewelry, Salzburg ceramics, wooden carvings from the Salzkammergut, and food specialties such as mountain cheese, alpine honey, and homemade jams. The Easter Festival (March 27 to April 6, 2026) with the Berlin Philharmonic turns Salzburg into the capital of high culture during this time – tickets are in high demand.
